YSRCP Raises Key Parliament Issues

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MP Mithun Reddy said the party will support the Women's Reservation Bill while raising several issues concerning Andhra Pradesh during the upcoming Parliament session.

Addressing the media, Mithun Reddy stated that the Centre has assured that the proposed Delimitation Bill would not cause injustice to southern states. However, he said the YSRCP would closely monitor the developments and protect the interests of Andhra Pradesh.

The MP also alleged irregularities in the state's District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment process and said the issue would be raised in Parliament. He further expressed concern over the reported increase in custodial deaths in Andhra Pradesh, calling for accountability and proper investigation into such incidents.

Mithun Reddy also accused the state government of filing cases and making arrests against those who question its policies. In addition, he highlighted the challenges faced by farmers, claiming that the agricultural sector in Andhra Pradesh is going through a severe crisis.

The YSRCP said it would use the Parliament session to raise these issues and seek appropriate responses from the governments concerned. The statements reflect the party's agenda for the forthcoming parliamentary proceedings.
