Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices Cut
Commercial LPG cylinder users received some relief as oil marketing companies reduced the prices by ₹183.50 per cylinder from July 1. The decision comes after a series of price hikes in recent months due to global developments, including tensions in West Asia.
The reduction is expected to benefit hotels, restaurants, catering services and small businesses that rely heavily on commercial LPG cylinders for daily operations. The lower fuel cost may help reduce their expenses and could also provide indirect relief to consumers through reduced operational costs.
After the latest revision, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has been fixed at ₹2,930. In Hyderabad, the rate stands at ₹3,178, while consumers in Vijayawada will pay around ₹3,115 per cylinder.
Industry representatives welcomed the price cut, stating that it would provide some relief to businesses facing rising input costs. However, the revised rates apply only to commercial LPG cylinders, and there has been no change in domestic cooking gas cylinder prices.
Officials said LPG prices are reviewed periodically based on international market trends, currency fluctuations and other factors. The latest reduction is expected to support small businesses and service sectors across the country.
