Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha Inaugurates Swagramam Restaurant
A new dining destination showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Andhra Pradesh was inaugurated in Vijayawada on Friday with the launch of Swagramam Restaurant at Moghalrajpuram, adjacent to RR Junctions. Andhra Pradesh Home and Disaster Management Minister Vangalapudi Anitha formally inaugurated the restaurant as the chief guest amid the presence of several dignitaries and local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Anitha said the hospitality sector in the capital region is witnessing rapid growth and attracting significant investment. She noted that Swagramam Restaurant, designed to reflect the charm and warmth of a traditional village setting, would offer a unique experience to visitors while promoting authentic Andhra cuisine.
The minister appreciated the initiative of bringing rural culture and traditional flavors closer to urban residents. She expressed confidence that the restaurant would receive an enthusiastic response from food lovers in Vijayawada and become a preferred destination for those seeking genuine Andhra delicacies.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Andhra Pradesh Star Hoteliers Association President RV Swami, Gadde Kranthi, son of Vijayawada East MLA Gadde Rammohan, and Bonda Siddhartha, son of Vijayawada Central MLA Bonda Umamaheswara Rao. Swagramam Restaurant proprietor Ramana and several other prominent guests were also present.
The restaurant has been designed to recreate a traditional village atmosphere, offering customers a blend of rustic ambience and regional culinary specialties. Guests at the event appreciated the concept and congratulated the management on introducing a restaurant that celebrates Andhra Pradesh’s food traditions and cultural roots.
A large number of residents attended the inaugural event and extended their best wishes to the organizers, making the launch a grand and memorable occasion.
