Thammineni Refutes Land Allegations

Former Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Thammineni Sitaram has responded to the allegations and publicity surrounding a land purchase, asserting that the transaction was carried out strictly in accordance with legal procedures.

In a statement, Thammineni said the land was purchased only after verifying the documents provided by document writers and intermediaries. He maintained that the registration process was completed in full compliance with the prescribed rules and regulations.

He further explained that officials at the Sub-Registrar's Office thoroughly examined all relevant documents before completing the registration. According to him, no objections or discrepancies were raised during the registration process, indicating that the transaction complied with the applicable procedures.

Refuting what he described as a false campaign against him, Thammineni alleged that misleading information was being circulated over the past few days to tarnish his image. He reiterated that the land purchase was transparent and legally valid.

The former Speaker urged people not to believe unverified reports and stated that the facts would establish the legality of the transaction. The issue has attracted political attention, with further developments expected as the matter continues to be discussed.
