Lokesh Courts Korean Tech Giants
Nara Lokesh held a series of high-level meetings with leading South Korean companies in Seoul, promoting Andhra Pradesh as a preferred destination for investments in semiconductors, electric vehicles, electronics, and advanced technologies.
During talks with executives of Hyundai Mobis, Lokesh proposed an EV semiconductor hub, EV component manufacturing units, and an R&D centre in Andhra Pradesh. He also discussed collaborations in autonomous driving and smart manufacturing.
Lokesh welcomed APACT's decision to establish an OSAT facility in Visakhapatnam and urged the company to promote Andhra Pradesh among global semiconductor firms. He also met leaders of LG Electronics and LG Chem, proposing investments in manufacturing, innovation, battery ecosystems, petrochemicals, and recycling.
At a meeting with Samsung Electronics representatives, Lokesh pitched Andhra Pradesh as a hub for AI data centres, display fabrication, battery manufacturing, and quantum computing. He assured investors of the state's industry-friendly policies, modern infrastructure, and full government support for technology-driven industrial growth.
