Gym Trainer Booked in Vijayawada

Police have registered a case against a gym trainer in Vijayawada following allegations of sexual assault, criminal intimidation, and blackmail made by a young woman. The accused, identified as Abdul Khader, is currently absconding, and police have launched a search to trace him.

According to the complaint, the accused befriended the woman through Instagram and allegedly convinced her to join a gym by promising to help her lose weight. The victim alleged that he later took her to a hotel near the gym, where he allegedly served her a drink suspected to have been laced with an intoxicating substance.

The complainant stated that she lost consciousness after consuming the drink. She further alleged that the accused sexually assaulted her while she was unconscious and secretly took objectionable photographs. According to the complaint, he later used those images to threaten and harass her.

Based on the woman's complaint, police have registered a case under relevant provisions of the law and initiated an investigation. Officials said efforts are underway to apprehend the accused and collect evidence related to the allegations.

Police have urged the public to avoid speculation while the investigation is in progress. The allegations are currently under investigation.
