Jana Sena Leader Dies
A Jana Sena Party leader was found dead after an alleged suicide in Tirupati, prompting police to register a case and begin an investigation.
According to police, Shivakumar (48), who served as the Rajampet Jana Sena Social Media In-charge, was found hanging in the bathroom of a house in Kennedy Nagar, under the limits of the Tirupati East Police Station. Shivakumar was a native of Noonevaripalli village in Rajampet mandal.
Reports said Shivakumar had visited the residence of his relative, Chintala Ramanamurthy, before the incident. He was later found hanging inside the bathroom of the house. Family members immediately alerted the police, who reached the spot and shifted the body for post-mortem examination.
A complaint has been lodged by the deceased's wife, Kalyani, following which police registered a case and launched an investigation. Officials said they are examining the circumstances that led to the incident and recording statements from family members and other witnesses.
Police have not yet disclosed the reason behind the alleged suicide and said all aspects of the case are being investigated. Further details are expected after the completion of the inquiry.
