Udhayanidhi Mocks Vijay in Assembly
Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin made sharp remarks against TVK chief Vijay, comparing the Assembly to a movie set. He alleged that Vijay was treating the Assembly like a cinema hall and “acting” during proceedings.
Using a series of film-related analogies, Udhayanidhi said the Speaker appeared to be saying “cut” while Vijay continued his performance. He sarcastically remarked that Vijay might soon bring a caravan, makeup artists and fight masters to the Assembly.
He further claimed that ministers were whistling in support and quipped that item-song dances could be next. The comments have triggered fresh political sparring between the DMK and TVK ahead of the upcoming political contests in Tamil Nadu.
