Rhea Ahir Seeks Public Support
Rhea Ahir, a resident of Mumbai, has alleged that she has been facing harassment after her photograph from the recent CJP protests went viral on social media. She claimed that the increased public attention has led to continuous difficulties in her personal life.
Speaking about the incident, Rhea said that although an FIR was registered on July 27, she has not yet received a copy of the First Information Report. She questioned the delay in providing the document and expressed concern over the manner in which the case has been handled.
Rhea gained attention during the protests after she was seen standing in front of a police vehicle, with images of the incident circulating widely online. Since then, she said she has been subjected to harassment and unwanted attention.
Appealing for support, Rhea said she had always stood by the people whenever they needed help and hoped that the public would now stand with her during this difficult period. Her remarks have generated discussions on social media, with many users expressing different opinions on the issue.
The authorities have not yet publicly responded to her allegations regarding the delay in providing the FIR copy.
