Family of Four Dies by Suicide
A tragic incident was reported from Bangarupalyam mandal in Chittoor district, where four members of a family allegedly died by suicide. According to preliminary information, Damu (30) and his wife Nirmala (25) allegedly administered poison to their two children before ending their own lives by hanging.
Police suspect that financial difficulties and Nirmala’s prolonged health issues may have driven the family to take the extreme step. A suicide note reportedly recovered from the scene contained Damu’s ATM and PhonePe PIN details, along with a request that funds from his account be used for the family’s last rites.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to ascertain the exact circumstances behind the incident. The tragedy has left local residents shocked and grieving.
