N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to strengthen revenue generation and secure pending central funds, setting a target of ₹1,27,506 crore for 2026–27. During a review meeting in Amaravati, he stressed the use of Artificial Intelligence to curb tax evasion and improve GST scrutiny.

The Chief Minister asked departments including transport, excise and mines to adopt AI-based systems while ensuring transparent tax collection. He also promoted GIS mapping, drone surveys and satellite imagery to monitor illegal constructions and improve municipal tax assessments.

Officials informed that the State’s revenue grew from ₹1,04,345 crore in 2024–25 to ₹1,10,643 crore in 2025–26. Naidu highlighted the need for value addition in minerals, faster vehicle registrations and resolution of land disputes to further boost collections and economic growth.
