Security Lapse At Dwaraka Tirumala

A fresh security lapse has come to light at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, popularly known as Chinna Tirupati, after a person allegedly recorded videos of the temple's presiding deity (Moola Virat) and uploaded them on social media. The incident has raised serious concerns over the enforcement of security measures inside the temple.

Mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the temple premises. However, the individual reportedly managed to carry a phone into the sanctum area and recorded not only the deity but also the interiors of the temple during the morning Suprabhata Seva. The videos were later shared online, drawing criticism from devotees.

The incident has sparked outrage among devotees, who questioned how the individual was able to bypass security checks despite restrictions on electronic devices. Many demanded stricter screening of pilgrims entering the temple and sought accountability from officials responsible for maintaining security.

This is the second security-related controversy at the temple within a month. Earlier, a group of individuals allegedly danced to film songs at the Aniveti Mandapam, prompting criticism over the management's handling of temple discipline.

Devotees have urged the authorities to strengthen security arrangements, conduct a thorough inquiry into the latest incident, and take appropriate action against those responsible to prevent such lapses from recurring.
