Naidu Pushes Healthcare, Net-Zero Vision

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday stressed the importance of integrated healthcare services, a zero-tolerance policy against drugs and ganja, and sustainable development during his visit to Kuppam Assembly constituency.

Naidu inaugurated new CT Scan and Dialysis facilities at the Kuppam Area Hospital and reviewed the Sanjeevani healthcare programme. He instructed officials to improve sanitation after noticing poor hygiene on the hospital premises. Emphasising that digitising health records alone is insufficient, he called for seamless integration of healthcare data to enhance patient care. He also directed officials to evaluate the programme's impact and collect feedback from beneficiaries.

During his visit, Naidu inspected a Panchatatva-themed walking track, planted a sapling, and appreciated a student who developed a road accident alert device for doctors. Following a presentation by the Brahma Kumaris on de-addiction through meditation, he ordered strict enforcement against drugs and ganja.

Later, Naidu visited Nalagampalli village to review the Net-Zero initiative. He examined rooftop solar systems, rainwater harvesting, composting, and terrace gardening projects. Officials said participating families are saving around ₹400 per month on electricity. Naidu directed officials to develop Nalagampalli as a model village and replicate its sustainable practices across Kuppam.
