Naidu Alleges Smear Campaign Funding
N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday alleged that leaders of the YSR Congress Party were funding a sustained social media campaign to defame his government. Speaking informally with the media during his three-day visit to Kuppam, Naidu claimed that large sums of money were being channelled to certain social media groups to target him and Pawan Kalyan.
Referring to the YSRCP as the "Axe Party," the Chief Minister accused it of encouraging violence, abusive language, factionalism, and rowdyism. He maintained that despite such campaigns, the alliance government would continue implementing development initiatives across Andhra Pradesh.
Naidu said Kuppam is witnessing rapid industrial growth with improved road and communication infrastructure. He added that the government plans to replicate the constituency's development model across the state through decentralised growth.
Highlighting investment initiatives, the Chief Minister said Andhra Pradesh is attracting projects in quantum computing, semiconductors, renewable energy, and manufacturing. He announced that a quantum computing centre in Amaravati is expected to begin operations by December. Naidu also alleged that the previous YSRCP government created hurdles for industrial projects through controversial land policies.
