Lokesh Visits Mopidevi Temple

Andhra Pradesh HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh visited the revered Sri Subrahmanyeswara Swamy Temple in Avanigadda constituency on Wednesday and offered special prayers. He was accorded a traditional Poorna Kumbham welcome by Vedic scholars and temple authorities upon arrival.

Lokesh first offered milk at the Naga Putta and later participated in special rituals dedicated to Lord Sri Subrahmanyeswara Swamy and his consorts Valli and Devasena. Temple priests conducted special pujas and blessed him with Vedic chants before presenting Teertha Prasadam.

Temple Executive Officer and Deputy Commissioner Dasari Srirama Varaprasada Rao felicitated the minister and presented him with a portrait of the presiding deity. Several public representatives and party leaders accompanied him during the visit, including ministers, MPs, MLAs and senior TDP functionaries.

The temple visit attracted devotees and local residents, highlighting the spiritual significance of the Mopidevi shrine, one of the prominent pilgrimage centres dedicated to Lord Subrahmanyeswara in Andhra Pradesh.
