Lokesh Highlights Welfare Initiatives

Andhra Pradesh HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh said the state government has strengthened welfare and recruitment initiatives by providing ₹4,000 pensions and filling 16,000 teacher posts through the Mega DSC recruitment drive. Addressing party cadres, he stressed that transparency in recruitment and governance reforms remains a key priority of the coalition government.

Lokesh accused the YSRCP of spreading misinformation on recruitment and governance issues and urged party workers to effectively counter such narratives. He announced that a door-to-door outreach campaign would begin on July 10 and directed leaders to complete pending organisational committees in Avanigadda on a priority basis.

Highlighting cadre welfare measures, Lokesh said the party is providing ₹5 lakh financial assistance to families of deceased workers. He also announced health check-up programmes for party functionaries, including cluster and unit-level leaders, as part of efforts to strengthen the organisation and support grassroots workers.
