Book Highlights India’s Rise Under Modi
book titled Bharat Rising in the Modi Era, authored by Dr. Dilip Kilaru, was unveiled in Vijayawada on Friday in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav. The event was attended by Yamini Sharma and several prominent personalities from different fields.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Kilaru said the book reflects India’s remarkable transformation, development, and growing influence on the global stage under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He explained that the idea for the book emerged after his return from the United States in 2001, when he began reflecting on India’s journey toward becoming a developed nation despite its rich civilizational heritage.
The author highlighted India’s contributions to knowledge, culture, and education, describing it as the land of the Vedas, Yoga, and renowned ancient institutions such as Takshashila and Nalanda. He noted that Indians have excelled globally in technology, medicine, business, and education.
Dr. Kilaru said the book examines leadership, governance, national identity, and cultural confidence while paying tribute to freedom fighters, including Bhagat Singh. He also highlighted initiatives such as PM Awas Yojana and Ayushman Bharat, emphasizing that national unity, development, and collective effort are essential to achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
