BJP Leader Seeks Action Against Prakash Raj
BJP senior leader Vishnu Vardhan Reddy has demanded that police register a suo motu case against Prakash Raj and take legal action over alleged remarks targeting Andhra Pradesh and religious beliefs.
Addressing the media, Vishnu Vardhan Reddy alleged that certain individuals were attempting to create unrest in the state through provocative statements. He claimed that Prakash Raj made objectionable remarks about Hinduism, Rama, and Sita, and referred to an alleged leaked audio clip as evidence supporting the accusations.
The BJP leader also alleged that inappropriate comments had been made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
He called for a comprehensive investigation by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) into what he described as a conspiracy against Andhra Pradesh and urged authorities to take strict action against those found responsible.
The allegations reflect the BJP leader's statements. Authorities have not publicly confirmed the allegations, and Prakash Raj's response, if any, was not available at the time of reporting.
