AP Government to Release Two-Year Progress Reports
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed ministers and senior officials to prepare and release a series of “Progress Reports 2024-26” highlighting the achievements of the Andhra Pradesh government during its first two years in office. The reports are aimed at informing the public about the administration’s performance across key sectors and the progress achieved since 2024.
Reviewing the initiative at the Camp Office, the Chief Minister said the reports should serve as Action Taken Reports on the seven white papers released after the government assumed office. These white papers covered critical sectors such as state finances, the Polavaram project, Amaravati capital development, power, law and order, mining, and excise.
Naidu stated that the reports should clearly explain the steps taken to overcome challenges inherited from the previous administration and place the state on a development path. He noted that major reforms had been implemented in governance, welfare, infrastructure, and public services over the last two years.
A total of ten reports are being prepared, including new reports on Development, Good Governance, and Welfare-Empowerment. The Chief Minister will personally release four major reports on Finance, Development, Welfare, and Governance, while ministers will unveil the remaining reports. Officials have been instructed to complete and release all reports by July 18 and later compile them into a comprehensive book.
