TTD Opens Medical Centre

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) inaugurated a modern medical centre at Vaikuntham Queue Complex-II in Tirumala on Thursday to strengthen healthcare services for devotees waiting for Srivari darshan. The facility has been established to provide immediate medical assistance and improve emergency response in one of the busiest queue complexes.

The centre is equipped with ECG machines, oxygen support systems, advanced medical equipment, and other emergency care infrastructure. TTD officials said the facility is designed to offer quick and efficient treatment to devotees who experience health issues while waiting for darshan.

A team of four doctors and sixteen paramedical staff will provide round-the-clock medical services at the centre. A 24-hour ambulance service has also been deployed to ensure prompt transportation of patients requiring advanced treatment at higher medical facilities.

Officials stated that the initiative reflects TTD's commitment to enhancing devotee safety, welfare, and medical preparedness in high-footfall areas of Tirumala. They added that the new centre would significantly strengthen healthcare services during peak pilgrim seasons.

The inauguration was attended by Srivari Temple Deputy Executive Officer Lokanatham, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kusumakumari, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Suhar Latha, Ashwini Hospital Superintendent Dr. Subba Reddy, Dr. Padmaja, and other medical and paramedical staff.
