Spiritual Mutt Faces Serious Allegations

Rajamahendravaram: Serious allegations of misuse of religious sentiment and financial irregularities have surfaced against the private spiritual establishment “Amrutakali Siddhapitham – Sri Kalabhairava Guru Sansthan Mutt” in Rajamahendravaram. The institution, operating from a residential premises near the Godavari riverbank, is accused of functioning as an unauthorised spiritual and commercial centre.

Critics allege the Mutt has aggressively promoted itself through social media platforms, including Kalabhairava TV on YouTube and Facebook, while claiming to host the world’s only “Lakshmi Kubera Swarnakarshana Bhairava Kshetram.” Questions have also been raised over the alleged renaming of the officially designated Lakshmi Ganapathi Ghat into “Kalabhairava Deeksha Ghat” without municipal approval.

Locals further claim that rituals and spiritual programmes are being conducted by selectively inviting financially affluent devotees and collecting money without issuing receipts. Concerns have also been expressed over alleged lack of permissions from Endowments and Municipal authorities.
