Search Intensifies for Missing Girl Janu

Nine days after six-year-old Janu went missing in a forested area near CH Agraharam under Dondavaka Panchayat in Kakinada district’s Tuni mandal, authorities continue extensive search operations to trace the child. Despite relentless efforts by multiple agencies, there has been no breakthrough in the case so far.

Officials have completed a post-mortem examination on the dog that reportedly accompanied Janu into the forest and later returned dead. Samples collected from the animal's body have been sent to a forensic laboratory in Visakhapatnam for detailed analysis. Investigators hope the findings may provide crucial clues regarding the child’s disappearance.

Acting on the directions of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, an additional 30-member NDRF team has joined the search efforts. Local police, revenue officials, forest department personnel, and disaster response teams are combing the surrounding area extensively.

Meanwhile, investigators have analyzed around 4,800 phone calls recorded within the coverage area of seven nearby mobile towers. Based on the analysis, several individuals have been identified as persons of interest and are being questioned.

The disappearance of the young girl has sparked concern across the region, with authorities continuing round-the-clock efforts to uncover her whereabouts and bring the case to a resolution.
