Revanth Predicts Congress Victory

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that the Congress would secure a decisive mandate in the next Assembly elections, predicting that the party would win 117 out of the proposed 182 Assembly constituencies.

Addressing a public gathering, Revanth Reddy said, "I swear on Lord Rama of Bhadrachalam that the Congress will win 117 seats in the next Assembly elections." He also stated that the next Telangana Assembly elections would be held in May 2029.

The Chief Minister said the ongoing delimitation process is expected to increase the number of Assembly constituencies in Telangana from the current 119 to 182. He further claimed that the state's Lok Sabha representation would rise from 17 seats to 26 after the exercise.

Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that the Congress government would continue its development and welfare agenda and return to power with a strong majority. He said the party is focused on fulfilling its promises and strengthening governance across the state.

The Chief Minister's remarks come amid growing political activity in Telangana, with major parties preparing for future electoral battles. His prediction of an expanded Assembly and increased parliamentary representation has added a new dimension to the state's political discourse ahead of the next elections.
