New Vande Bharat Sleeper Routes Proposed

The Central Government has proposed several new Vande Bharat Sleeper train services aimed at enhancing long-distance rail connectivity across the country. The proposed routes are expected to provide faster, more comfortable overnight travel for passengers.

The routes under consideration include Mumbai–Bengaluru, Delhi–Ahmedabad, Delhi–Howrah, Delhi–Chennai, Delhi–Hyderabad, Delhi–Pune, and Delhi–Srinagar. The sleeper version of the Vande Bharat train is designed to offer modern amenities, improved passenger comfort, and reduced travel time on major inter-city corridors.

The initiative is part of Indian Railways’ broader modernization drive to upgrade long-distance travel and expand the reach of high-speed, semi-high-speed rail services across India.
