Naidu Visits Kuppam Area Hospital

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Kuppam constituency in Chittoor district on Friday and inspected the Kuppam Area Hospital as part of his official tour. During the visit, he inaugurated newly established CT scan and dialysis centres, aimed at improving access to advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities for patients in the region.

The Chief Minister also reviewed the implementation of the 'Sanjeevani' project at the hospital. He inspected various departments, interacted with hospital officials and assessed the quality of healthcare services being provided to patients. Naidu stressed the importance of strengthening public health infrastructure and ensuring that quality medical care is available to people closer to their homes.

Officials briefed the Chief Minister on the functioning of the newly inaugurated facilities and the progress of the Sanjeevani project. He directed them to maintain high standards in healthcare delivery and ensure that patients receive timely diagnosis and treatment without inconvenience.

The inauguration of the CT scan and dialysis units is expected to reduce the need for patients to travel to larger cities for specialised medical services. The visit forms part of the state government's broader efforts to modernise government hospitals, improve healthcare infrastructure and enhance the availability of essential medical services across Andhra Pradesh.
