Land Grab Allegations Against Kesineni

Allegations of a major land encroachment attempt have emerged in Hyderabad, involving a 112.72-acre government-owned parcel earmarked for the Telangana Global Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) to expand the IT corridor in the Pragathi Nagar–Shamshiguda area. The land, estimated to be worth several thousand crore rupees, has become the centre of a political controversy.

According to the allegations, TDP MP Kesineni Chinni's family members, through an alleged benami network linked to M/s Excella Properties, attempted to take control of the highly valuable property. Former Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani has reportedly submitted a complaint to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, urging the state government to intervene and take strict action against those responsible.

The complaint further claims that the disputed land falls under Survey No. 57 and has already been identified by the district collector as government poramboke land. Despite this official determination, the alleged attempts to encroach upon the property are said to be continuing.

The issue has sparked political attention due to the strategic importance and high value of the land, which has been reserved for future IT infrastructure development. As the allegations gain traction, there has been growing demand for a transparent investigation to establish the facts and ensure that government land remains protected from any unlawful occupation.
