KTR Slams CM Revanth
BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) launched a sharp attack on Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, accusing him of making irresponsible statements to divert attention from governance issues. Addressing the media, KTR alleged that the Congress government has failed to deliver effective administration and is instead making false claims about the state's financial situation.
KTR claimed that the Revanth Reddy-led government had borrowed nearly ₹4 lakh crore within two and a half years of assuming office. In contrast, he said the previous BRS government under former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) borrowed around ₹2.80 lakh crore during its ten-year tenure.
He further alleged that the Congress government was misleading the public by repeatedly blaming the previous administration for Telangana's debt burden. According to KTR, the allegations against KCR regarding state borrowings are baseless and politically motivated.
The BRS leader maintained that the Congress government was spreading misinformation to cover up its own failures in governance and financial management. He urged the government to focus on fulfilling its promises and addressing public concerns instead of targeting the previous administration with what he described as false narratives.
The Congress government has not yet responded to KTR's latest allegations.
