Heavy Rush Continues at Tirumala

Tirumala continues to witness a massive influx of devotees, with thousands arriving daily to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. Due to the heavy crowd, temple authorities have stated that devotees without special entry tokens are currently required to wait nearly 24 hours for Sarva Darshan.

According to the latest figures released by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), a total of 95,094 devotees had darshan of the deity on the previous day. The large turnout reflects the unwavering faith of pilgrims visiting the sacred hill shrine from various parts of the country.

The temple also recorded a significant number of devotees participating in the traditional tonsure ritual. On the same day, 35,909 pilgrims offered their hair as a mark of devotion and gratitude to Lord Venkateswara.

In addition to the high footfall, the temple's Hundi collections remained strong. TTD officials reported that devotees contributed ₹3.93 crore through offerings made in the Hundi on the previous day.

Temple authorities are making arrangements to manage the crowd efficiently and ensure a smooth darshan experience for pilgrims. Devotees planning to visit Tirumala are advised to check crowd conditions and waiting times in advance and cooperate with officials for the orderly conduct of darshan and other temple activities.
