Fresh Case Delays Prashna Ravan’s Release

The legal proceedings against YouTuber Prashna Ravan continued on Friday as he was arrested in yet another case immediately after securing bail in an earlier one. A Machilipatnam court granted him bail in the case registered by the Inaguduru Police Station, offering temporary relief.

However, before he could be released, police registered a fresh case against him at Payakaraopeta Police Station and took him back into custody. He was subsequently shifted to Payakaraopeta for further legal proceedings, extending his detention despite obtaining bail.

The latest arrest is part of a series of cases filed against Prashna Ravan in different police station jurisdictions over the past few days. As a result, even after receiving bail in one case, he continues to remain in police custody due to the registration of new cases.

The developments have attracted significant public and political attention, with the repeated arrests becoming a subject of debate. Legal experts note that when multiple criminal cases are registered in different jurisdictions, an accused may continue to remain in custody until bail is obtained in each case, subject to court orders and applicable legal procedures.

Police are expected to produce Prashna Ravan before the jurisdictional court in connection with the latest case, while further investigation into the allegations against him is underway.
