Five Ministers Skip AP Cabinet Meeting
Five ministers were absent from the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting held in Amaravati after obtaining prior permission from the government, officials said.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan could not attend the meeting as he travelled to Mumbai for medical reasons. Minister for HRD, IT and Electronics Nara Lokesh was away on an official visit to South Korea to attract investments and strengthen industrial partnerships for the state.
Industries Minister T.G. Bharat was also absent as he is currently on an official visit to the United States. Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu missed the Cabinet meeting due to his visit to Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, Minister Kondapalli Srinivas was unable to participate as he was engaged in official protocol duties in Tirupati during the visit of a Union Minister.
Government sources clarified that all five ministers had obtained prior approval for their absence and that their non-attendance was due to official commitments or personal reasons. The Cabinet meeting proceeded as scheduled under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, with the remaining ministers participating in discussions on key governance and development issues.
The government stated that the ministers' absence would not affect Cabinet decisions, as all necessary procedures were followed before the meeting.
