CI Transferred in Missing Case
A senior police officer has been transferred in connection with the missing case of rowdy-sheeter Sai Krishna in Vijayawada. Vijayawada Police Commissioner ordered Krishna Lanka CI Nagaraju to be moved to the VR (Vacancy Reserve) amid allegations raised by Sai Krishna’s family members.
Sai Krishna has reportedly been missing since May 10. His family alleged that he was taken from Markapuram on the same day and subjected to an encounter, claims that have drawn significant attention. The matter came up for hearing before the Andhra Pradesh High Court, which directed authorities to produce Sai Krishna before the court on June 29.
The transfer of the CI comes as investigations and legal proceedings continue in the high-profile case. Authorities are expected to submit further details before the court during the next hearing.
