Ayodhya Trust Leaders Step Down
A major development has emerged in the alleged Ayodhya Ram Temple donation misappropriation case, with Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and trustee Anil Mishra stepping down from their posts. The resignations came after an FIR was registered and several individuals were arrested in connection with the alleged embezzlement of devotees' donations. Reports indicate that Champat Rai resigned on moral grounds to facilitate an impartial investigation, although there has also been some public confusion over the status of the resignations.
Among those arrested is Tinnu Yadav, who had worked as Champat Rai's driver. Police have arrested eight accused and recovered a substantial amount of cash during the investigation into the alleged irregularities. Authorities are continuing to probe the handling of temple donations and the role of those involved.
The controversy has attracted nationwide attention due to the significance of the Ayodhya Ram Temple. The investigation remains ongoing, and officials are expected to examine the financial management and oversight of temple donations as the case progresses.
