N. Chandrababu Naidu has called for statewide austerity measures to safeguard economic stability amid global uncertainties. After a special Cabinet meeting in Amaravati, the government announced the “My Nation – My Responsibility” campaign, encouraging reduced fuel use, smaller convoys, virtual meetings, and energy conservation.

Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy said officials would observe “No Vehicle Friday,” promote electric vehicles, and expand solar energy adoption under the Suryaghar scheme. The Cabinet also discussed resolving the long-pending AgriGold issue within six months through a special committee.

The Chief Minister urged departments to cut unnecessary expenditure, limit foreign travel, and encourage Work from Home policies where possible. Citizens were also advised to support domestic products, reduce gold purchases, and prefer eco-friendly practices. The government plans to improve EV infrastructure, deploy electric buses, and promote rooftop solar installations across the state.
