Strong Earthquake Jolts China's Sichuan Province
A powerful earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale struck Sichuan early Monday morning, causing tremors across several parts of the province. According to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), the earthquake's epicentre was located in Gaoxian County near Yibin. The quake originated at a depth of approximately 6 kilometres below the surface.
