Revanth Slams BRS Leadership Again
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy launched a blistering attack on the BRS leadership during a public meeting, accusing the party of causing unprecedented damage to the state during its decade-long rule. He questioned the BRS leadership, asking, "What should we call those who caused 100 years of destruction in just 10 years?" The Chief Minister alleged that the party had lost the trust of the people and was surviving only on family politics.
Continuing his criticism, Revanth Reddy said that apart from close family members, no one in the state wanted the BRS leadership to return to power. He claimed that the public had already "socially boycotted" the political family and asserted that the party had no future left in Telangana. According to him, the BRS could only speak about its past achievements because it lacked a roadmap for the future.
Targeting the opposition's electoral prospects, the Chief Minister declared that the ruling Congress would not allow the BRS to retain its lone remaining Assembly seat in Suryapet. He expressed confidence that Congress workers and supporters would strengthen the party's presence in the constituency and ensure victory in future elections.
