NBK 112 Launched in Amaravati

A grand launch ceremony for Nandamuri Balakrishna's 112th film, NBK 112, was held in Amaravati on Thursday, marking the first major film launch in the state's capital. Minister for Education, IT and Electronics Nara Lokesh attended the event as chief guest and gave the ceremonial clap, while Balakrishna's daughter Tejaswini switched on the camera.

Held at the BITS Pilani grounds in Velagapudi, the event began with traditional rituals attended by film personalities, political leaders, and industry representatives. Addressing the gathering, Lokesh said it was his first time attending a film launch and thanked his "beloved uncle" Balakrishna for the opportunity. Raising the slogan "Jai Balayya," he said the government aims to develop Amaravati as a hub for the film industry and the broader creator economy in line with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's vision.

Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh said the launch marked an important step towards establishing the Telugu film industry in Andhra Pradesh. He highlighted the government's plans to develop film studios, dubbing theatres, recording facilities, and other infrastructure.

Directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Cherukuri Sudhakar and Mikkilineni Sudhakar, NBK 112 is expected to be one of Balakrishna's major upcoming projects.
