Naidu Defends Transparent Teacher Recruitment Process
Amaravati, June 3: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu strongly defended the District Selection Committee (DSC) teacher recruitment process, stating that all appointments were conducted with complete transparency and strict adherence to rules. He accused the YSRCP of spreading baseless allegations for political gain and attempting to mislead the public through misinformation campaigns.
Naidu said teacher recruitment remains a top priority and highlighted that the government fulfilled its election promise soon after taking office. He asserted that the selection process was fair, merit-based, and followed reservation norms without deviation.
Addressing concerns over sports quota appointments, the Chief Minister clarified that selections were made according to official categories and Government of India guidelines. He added that critics were misinformed about eligibility rules and procedures.
He urged political parties to verify facts before making public accusations, saying constructive opposition strengthens democracy while false claims only create confusion. Naidu reaffirmed that the DSC system continues to be a credible and transparent mechanism for teacher appointments.
The Chief Minister also dismissed attempts to create tensions between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and criticised remarks against Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. He highlighted Telugu global achievements and defended welfare initiatives like Yoga Andhra 2026, aimed at public health improvement.
