Malla Reddy Visits Tirumala Temple
Telangana MLA Malla Reddy offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at the Tirumala temple on Friday. He participated in the darshan under the special quota allotted to donors of the Sri Venkateswara Aalayala Nirmanam Trust (SRIVANI Trust), which provides special darshan privileges to eligible contributors supporting temple construction, renovation, and preservation activities.
Speaking to the media after the darshan, Malla Reddy said he has dedicated more than three-and-a-half decades to establishing educational institutions and promoting quality education. He revealed that he had decided last year to establish a university in Tirupati and that the Central Government has now granted approval for the Malla Reddy Deemed University.
The Telangana MLA expressed happiness over receiving the permission and said the proposed university would strengthen the education sector in Tirupati by creating better opportunities for students. He added that the institution would focus on providing quality higher education and contribute to the region’s academic development.
Malla Reddy thanked the Central Government and the concerned authorities for granting approval to the university project. He reiterated his commitment to expanding educational infrastructure and said the new deemed university reflects his vision of making quality education more accessible to students while supporting the overall growth of the education sector.
