Andhra Pradesh Minister for HRD, ITE&C and RTGS Nara Lokesh invited South Korean companies to invest in the state’s advanced manufacturing, technology and innovation sectors during the 31st CII Partnership Summit 2026 Korea Roadshow held in Seoul. Addressing an interactive session organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Andhra Pradesh government, Lokesh showcased investment opportunities in electronics, semiconductors, IT, electric vehicles, renewable energy, green hydrogen, food processing, ports and logistics.

The event was attended by representatives from the Korean government, Invest KOREA, KOTRA, the Indian Embassy in Seoul and leading Korean industries. During his meetings, Lokesh invited Cuckoo Electronics to establish a home appliance manufacturing unit in Sri City or Tirupati and encouraged Motivelink to set up an EV components manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh.

Shinhyup Electronics proposed a ₹1,595 crore PCB manufacturing plant at Naidupeta, expected to generate around 2,170 jobs. Lokesh also held discussions with HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering on maritime opportunities and invited Samsung Electronics to establish AI data centres, server manufacturing facilities, an R&D centre in Amaravati Quantum Valley and a proposed Samsung City.

He further requested Invest KOREA to open an office in Amaravati or Visakhapatnam and invited Korean companies to participate in the 31st CII Partnership Summit scheduled to be held in Andhra Pradesh on November 12–13, 2026.
