KTR Questions CM Over Debate Challenge
Hyderabad: criticised Telangana Chief Minister , alleging that he lacked the courage to face the opposition in a public debate. Referring to previous challenges, KTR claimed that the Chief Minister had earlier invited him for a discussion at the Press Club but did not turn up after he accepted the challenge.
He further said that the Chief Minister recently challenged the opposition to a debate on the state's debt, which he had accepted. However, KTR alleged that Minister intervened instead, and despite announcing that they would come to Telangana Bhavan, the minister addressed the issue elsewhere. KTR accused the ruling Congress of avoiding a direct debate and reiterated his willingness to discuss the state's financial situation.
