Jana Sena Seeks Action Over Remarks
Jana Sena Party leader Fatima Rani has condemned the alleged remarks made against Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, demanding strict legal action against those responsible.
Addressing the media, Fatima Rani alleged that Jada Sravan and Prashna Ravana, during a recent public meeting in Eluru, made provocative comments targeting Pawan Kalyan and the Jana Sena Party. She claimed the statements hurt the sentiments of party workers and were intended to create political, caste, and religious divisions.
She said the Godavari districts have a long history of communal harmony and peaceful coexistence among different communities. While acknowledging that the Constitution guarantees freedom of speech, she stressed that it should not be misused to make inflammatory or controversial remarks.
Accompanied by Jana Sena leaders and supporters, Fatima Rani submitted a complaint at the Nallajerla Police Station to Circle Inspector Ravi Kumar, seeking legal action against the individuals concerned.
After filing the complaint, she led a padayatra from the police station to the Nallajerla main junction, carrying a cross as a symbol of peace. Party workers also staged a silent protest wearing black ribbons, urging authorities to investigate the matter and take appropriate action against those accused of making the alleged remarks.
