Jagan Demands CBI Probe DSC
Tadepalli, June 3: YSRCP President and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy demanded a CBI inquiry into the DSC-2025 teacher recruitment process, alleging large-scale irregularities and lack of transparency at multiple stages. Interacting with DSC candidates at the YSRCP Central Office in Tadepalli, he said aspirants’ testimonies revealed serious procedural lapses that required an impartial investigation.
Jagan claimed that candidates who cleared examinations, attended interviews, and completed certificate verification were still denied appointments without clear justification. He said there could be no greater injustice than declaring candidates eligible and later withholding job placements.
He further alleged issues from the examination stage itself, including question paper leaks, changes in Government Orders, and confusion in the selection framework. According to him, discrepancies were also reported in merit lists, reservation implementation, roster points, sports quota allocation, and final selections.
On sports quota recruitment, Jagan said rules were allegedly altered mid-process by introducing additional requirements such as examinations and TET qualification. He questioned the necessity of such changes during an ongoing recruitment process.
Highlighting his government’s record, he said over 1.30 lakh jobs were filled transparently in 2019, contrasting it with the current government’s handling of around 16,000 posts. He also announced that YSRCP would establish a legal panel to support affected candidates in courts and ensure justice.
