Bonalu Preparations Reviewed in Hyderabad

Telangana Minister Ponnam Prabhakar reviewed arrangements for the upcoming Ashada Bonalu festival celebrations in Hyderabad. Officials discussed security, transportation, and crowd management measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the festivities.

The Bonalu celebrations will commence near Golconda Fort on July 16. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is scheduled to offer traditional silk robes (Pattu Vastralu) at Secunderabad on August 2 as part of the celebrations. The traditional Rangam programme will be held on August 3.

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar stated that police security arrangements will be strengthened during the festival period. He also announced that the number of buses will be increased to facilitate the travel of devotees visiting temples and festival venues across the city. Authorities are making extensive preparations to ensure the convenience and safety of lakhs of devotees expected to participate in the annual celebrations.
