AP Announces Recruitment of 629 AEEs

The Andhra Pradesh government has launched recruitment for 629 Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) posts across power sector utilities, reinforcing its commitment to job creation and infrastructure development. Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar said notifications were issued on Wednesday to fill vacancies in power generation, transmission and distribution organisations.

The recruitment includes 200 posts in APTRANSCO, 100 in APGENCO, 134 in APSPDCL, 60 in APCPDCL and 135 in APEPDCL. The minister said the appointments would strengthen operational efficiency and improve service delivery across the power sector. He encouraged eligible engineering graduates to make use of the opportunity and apply. The recruitment drive is part of the government’s Job Calendar commitments and its focus on transparent hiring and employment generation.
