Minor Drives Luxury Car on ORR
A shocking incident of a minor driving a luxury car on Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road (ORR) has sparked concern after a video of the incident went viral on social media. The footage showed an 11-year-old boy behind the wheel of the vehicle on the busy ORR, raising questions over road safety and parental responsibility.
Following the circulation of the video, Rajendrannagar police launched an investigation and identified the boy’s father and the car owner as Abdul Hadi, a resident of Toli Chowki. Police took him into custody for allegedly allowing a minor to drive the vehicle.
A case has been registered against Abdul Hadi under multiple sections for permitting underage driving, which poses a serious risk to the child as well as other road users. The vehicle involved in the incident has also been seized by the police.
Officials stated that further investigation is underway to determine the complete details of the incident and the circumstances under which the minor was allowed to drive on the ORR.
The incident has once again highlighted the importance of strict enforcement of traffic rules and the need for parents to prevent minors from handling motor vehicles.
