Boghapuram Airport UDF Finalised
The User Development Fee (UDF) for the upcoming Bhogapuram International Airport has been finalized ahead of its launch. The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) has released temporary tariff rates that will come into effect when airport operations begin on July 8.
According to the notification, domestic passengers will pay a UDF of ₹835 on departure and ₹355 on arrival. For international travelers, the charges have been fixed at ₹1,255 for departures and ₹545 for arrivals. These fees will be collected in addition to the airfare paid by passengers.
The temporary tariff structure has been announced to facilitate the commencement of operations at the new airport. Authorities expect the airport to improve regional connectivity and boost economic activity in north coastal Andhra Pradesh. Passengers booking flights through the airport after the launch date will have to bear the additional UDF charges as part of their travel costs.
