Ustaad Bhagat Singh Is a Complete Family Entertainer - Raashii Khanna
Actress Raashii Khanna has expressed immense excitement about her upcoming film Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring Power Star Pawan Kalyan and directed by Harish Shankar. The highly anticipated film is slated for a grand theatrical release on March 19, coinciding with the Ugadi festival. Speaking to the media, Raashii described the film as a wholesome family entertainer that audiences can enjoy together in theatres. “This movie will give the same entertainment experience as Gabbar Singh. It is a complete family film, and everyone will enjoy it,” she said, adding that fans will get to see “vintage Pawan Kalyan” on screen. The film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers under the banner of Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar, has already generated massive buzz. The songs, teaser, and trailer have received a tremendous response, raising expectations to a new level. Music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while the background score is handled by S. Thaman.
Raashii revealed that she accepted the project instantly upon hearing that it was a Pawan Kalyan film. “I said yes even before listening to the story,” she admitted, noting that she had long wished to work with the star. She plays the character Shloka, a modern girl with strong characterization. She also has a mass song in the film, which she thoroughly enjoyed shooting due to her love for dancing. Sharing her experience working with Pawan Kalyan, Raashii described him as simple, humble, and deeply thoughtful. She recalled how he encouraged her to consider public service and spoke about his concern for society. “I learned a lot about humanity from him,” she said. The actress also praised director Harish Shankar for his dedication and efficiency. She highlighted his ability to complete the shoot in record time and appreciated the supportive environment provided by the producers.
Raashii is currently balancing multiple projects across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and OTT platforms. However, she believes Ustaad Bhagat Singh will remain special in her career for its scale, energy, and emotional connection with audiences.
