CBIT to Host International Conference “SASIGD 2026” on Sustainable AI
Hyderabad, March — Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), Hyderabad, will organize the 2026 International Conference on Sustainable AI for Social Impact and Global Development (SASIGD 2026) on August 13–14, 2026 at its campus.
The conference is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology (IEEE SSIT) and carries the IEEE Conference Record #68127. The event aims to bring together researchers, academicians, industry experts, and students to discuss emerging developments in Sustainable Artificial Intelligence and its applications for social impact and global development.
All accepted and presented papers will be published in IEEE Xplore, providing global visibility for research contributions. The conference invites original research papers from scholars and practitioners working in areas related to AI, sustainability, technology for social good, and global development.
The last date for paper submission is April 1, 2026, while student poster submissions are open until May 8, 2026. Interested researchers can submit their papers through the conference website https://sasigd.org/
The conference is being organized under the leadership of Sri N. Subash, President, CBIT (Chief Patron), and Prof. C. V. Narasimhulu, Principal, CBIT (Patron),
the General Chairs of the conference are Dr. Ramalatha Marimuthu, Vice President (Memberships), IEEE SSIT, and Dr. Sagar Gujjunoori, Associate Professor, Department of IT, CBIT.
