Headmaster Suspended Over TC Issue
The District Education Officer (DEO) has suspended the headmaster of the Zilla Parishad High School at Bandaramaram in Tungaturthi mandal of Suryapet district after a controversy involving the issuance of Transfer Certificates (TCs) to all students.
According to education department officials, Headmaster Hakeem allegedly issued TCs to all students following disputes among teachers at the school. The move reportedly resulted in the school being left without students, prompting the department to initiate disciplinary action.
After reviewing the matter, DEO Ashok suspended the headmaster, stating that his actions adversely affected the functioning of the institution and the students' education. In addition to the suspension, memos were issued to four teachers over their alleged role in the dispute.
The education department has taken the incident seriously and is expected to conduct a detailed inquiry into the circumstances that led to the conflict among the teaching staff and its impact on students. Officials have stressed the importance of maintaining a healthy academic environment and ensuring that internal disputes do not affect the education of children.
Further action will be taken based on the findings of the departmental inquiry.
