TTD Employee Arrested In Drugs

A drug trafficking case has created a stir in Tirupati district, with Renigunta police arresting three accused, including a TTD employee, during a special operation. Among those arrested is Rahul Yadav, who works as a junior assistant at the Govindaraja Swamy Temple Archaka Bhavan under the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

During the operation, police seized 63 grams of methamphetamine (meth) valued at approximately ₹3 lakh. According to investigators, the accused were allegedly involved in supplying drugs to students studying in engineering colleges. Officials suspect the network may have wider links, and further investigation is underway to identify other individuals connected to the racket.

The involvement of a TTD employee and an engineering student in the case has drawn significant public attention. Police are questioning the accused to trace the source of the drugs and determine how the narcotics were being distributed.

Authorities stated that efforts are ongoing to uncover the full extent of the network and take action against everyone involved. They also appealed to educational institutions and the public to remain vigilant and report any information related to drug abuse or trafficking. The investigation continues, and more arrests are expected if additional evidence emerges.
